1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TranslateKey (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App is provided by TranslateKey (“we”, “us”, or “our”). For questions, contact us at support@translatekey.com.

2. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not: sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, or distribute the App; reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code; or use the App to build a competing product or service.

3. Free Tier

The free tier allows you to use the App with limited functionality at no charge. We reserve the right to change, limit, or discontinue the free tier at any time with reasonable notice.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Pro subscriptions are offered on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed by LemonSqueezy (our payment provider). By subscribing, you authorize LemonSqueezy to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period.
You may cancel at any time via your LemonSqueezy customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not use the App to translate content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses the DeepL API to perform translations. Your use of the translation feature is subject to DeepL’s terms. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of DeepL’s services.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App (including all intellectual property rights) are and remain the exclusive property of TranslateKey. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand elements.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT TRANSLATIONS WILL BE ACCURATE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TRANSLATEKEY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
